The centre of any skate venue is the “Funbox" or "Pyramid". The MFB forms the nucleus and heart of the layout in conjunction with other portable events.

What makes this design truly unique though, is its portability enabling it to be moved from one location to another with absolute ease. When folded up in its travel mode, the all-steel constructed MFB also provides storage space for those other ancillary items of the skate venue such as humps, jumps, spines and grind rails. The MFB is ideal for councils which have dispersed population centres or a number of small townships which individually could not afford a permanent facility.

As a shared facility, it can be rostered around a number of locations and it is also perfect for community events such as fairs and festivals.

"The MFB was developed with local government in mind and assessing what would meet the needs and budget of a rural area," said Peter Smith, Corporate Services Director at Hindmarsh Shire Council.
